Impressive 19th century Crystal Chandelier

A fine French traditional gilt brass and cut crystal Louis XV style chandelier of twelve lights, this delightful piece dates from the 19th century, and is richly decorated with sweeping crystal chains, daggers, almonds and pendants, encircling a crisply cut central baluster stem. Elegant, curved, gilt arms emanate outwards from the base, supporting the lights, with each retaining its original, crystal drip-try or bobèches. The top crown radiates upwards, adorned all round with pear-drop crystals and beaded crystal ropes. This rare and majestic crystal Chandelier will be the center piece of one of your rooms. Complete and in excellent condition. Rewired to Australian safety standards.
