Pair of 19th Century Gilt Bronze Candelabra with Cherubs
$2.750,00
A fabulous pair of complementary 19th century gilt bronze and white marble two-branch candelabra, crafted in the Louis XVI style. Each of these ornate candle holders takes the form of a barely veiled golden putto holding aloft branches of billowing foliage topped with two rose-cast nozzles. The cherubs strike differing poses on each piece, but the circular and stepped pedestal bases are identical, and are crafted from white marble, embellished with ‘string of pearl’ bands and tiny rose garlands, and supported on bun feet. In very good vintage condition.
