This is a large, vintage collectible model of ‘HMS Bounty’, on a display stand, and dating to the beginning of 20th century. Finely detailed, and complete with rigging and fabric sails, this intricate and intriguing model is sure to become a talking point in any room.
HMS Bounty was a British naval vessel reputedly built in 1784 at Blaydes Yard in Hull, Yorkshire in England, which was destined to transport plants around the Caribbean islands. Under the command of Captain William Bligh, the ship fell to the infamous ‘mutiny on the Bounty’ and was set alight whilst moored at Pitcairn Island.
