A very handsome set of antique library steps with leather tops. Comprising a twist of four triangular steps, each one inset with tooled brown leather, decorated with giltwork. Above these is a turned, bamboo-effect upright rail with finial, which provides a tactile and secure handhold for the user. This quirky ladder is in excellent original condition, and would make a beautiful decorative item. It could even be used as a side table or for the display of plants.
