A wonderful pair of 19th century French marquetry bedside tables, or night stands, finely crafted in the Louis XV style. Each one features two drawers, each fitted with fine gilt brass scroll handles and escutcheons, and adorned in sophisticated cross-banded marquetry inlay on the façade and flanks. Ornate ormolu mounts add an extra touch of luxury to the sides, while elegant cabriole legs and a tooled and polished pink and ochre veined marble complete the design.
