A robust 18th century extending dining table

A robust 18th century French provincial farmhouse dining table, its warmly patinated rectangular top supported by four baluster-turned legs, joined by an ‘entretoise’ (H stretcher). Boasting two “allonges à l’italienne” (Italian-style extenders), concealed under its top, one at either end, the table extends to give even greater seating capability. This 18th century dining table is in excellent condition keeping with its age.
