An interesting Louis XVI-style desk chair in moulded and sculpted beech, with caned seat and back, dating from the beginning of the 19th century. Of particular note are the gondola-style backrest and kidney-shaped seat, which offer a high degree of comfort for someone seated at a desk. Four tapering and fluted legs complete the elegant design. In good, vintage condition.
