A pair of late 19th century Louis XV style, solid walnut, upholstered French cabriolets armchairs (Fauteuils Cabriolets). The generous, wide proportions of these elegantly carved and l-moulded armchairs were designed to accommodate the largest of the extravagant ladies dresses of the period.
