A very decorative pair of French Restauration period (19th century) gilt-bronze two-light wall sconces, finely chased and cast in a stunning design of leafy scrollwork. Drip trays in the form of stylised trumpet flowers spring skywards from a backplate of exuberant acanthus leaves, while gleaming scrolls adorned with bellflowers add additional interest behind.
