A glazed “Cave à Liqueur” with crystal decanters and glasses


A wonderful and rare antique glazed ‘Cave à Liqueur’, tantalus, or liqueur cellar, consisting of an elegant and classically designed glazed wooden casket, with a lift out interior containing four cut glass decanters (one slightly damaged), 14 stemmed liqueur glasses and two small glasses. Thickbevelled glass windows on all sides showcase the glassware within, the entire lid and front panel opening upward for ease of access. Perfect for entertaining or display, this luxurious French antique liqueur set would make an impressive addition to any elegant dining room. Epoque Napoleon III.
