A vibrant set of six Champagne flutes made by the celebrated Compagnie des Cristalleries de Saint Louis in Lorraine, the oldest glass manufacturer in France, dating back to 1586. Mouth-blown and hand-cut, this set is part of the famous ‘Tommy’ collection, which features a star-shaped base, with decorative diamond, bevel, pearl, and rim cuts throughout. It is said that in 1928, on the occasion of a visit by King George VI, a dinner was given in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, with each place setting laid with eleven glasses from the ‘Tommy’ series. The richly detailed cutting of these beautiful, coloured crystal glasses makes them glitter like diamonds, and they would be a stunning addition to any dinner table vibrant
