A French transitional two-drawer commode of exceptional quality. In natural wood, with two front opening drawers inlaid with marquetry frames, fluted uprights, and a shapedapron. Gilt brass escutcheons and handles complete the design. Louis XVI period.

Found in the castle of Sanilhac, in Provence.
