A very fine Regency convex mirror, dating from the early 19th century, in giltwood and blackened stucco. This exceptional Regency mirror is topped with a giltwood eagle with outstretched wings, flanked on each side by whimsical opposing dolphins. The convex glass is held by a reeded and ebonised mount, while the inner moulded frame features a design of foliage and gilded ball ornaments. An undermount of foliage completes the design, making this an eyecatching addition to any room.
