An elegant and ornate 1st Empire era rectangular mirror, in stuccoed and gilded wood. Decorated with haut relief stylised flowers, foliage and shells, its frame features a ‘continuous rope’ style outer border, and intricate mouldings at each corner. The original gilt finish of the frame is beautifully aged, with an attractive and authentically burnished patina all over.
In wonderful condition, this large and impressive mirror would make a bold statement in any room.
