An antique French transitional style demi-lune two-drawer commode, with viola marble top, dating from the early 20th century. With an intricately inlaid cross-band pattern across the facade and sides, and fitted with ornate gilt bronze mounts, drawer pulls and escutcheons. The high-quality, shaped and richly veined marble top boasts soft colours including shades of chocolate and pink. This charming piece of furniture is in excellent vintage condition, and with its curvaceous lines would make a great addition to both a classic or a contemporary interior.
