This French Louis Philippe period overmantle mirror in wood and gilded stucco features the typical rounded top corners and squared off bottom corners of the period, and would make a stunning feature in any room. The glass is outlined with a ‘string of pearls’ motif, while the frame is surmounted by a richly carved cartouche crest, featuring entwined acanthus leaves and foliage. Please note that some small areas of stucco are missing, and that there are some signs of historical repair.
