An exceptionally fine Napoleon III parclose Mirror, with its original bevelled mercury glass mirror plate. The design is extremely decorative, its outsize crest featuring a handsome urn filled with garlands of flowers and leaves, with additional garlands flanking each side, and smaller urns presiding over each shoulder. Both the inner and outer frames are beautifully carved and textured throughout. This large and impressive mirror would be a stunning focal point in any interior, where it could reflect the light in its many panes. In good, antique condition.
