A gleaming Louis Philippe period gilt wood mirror, its burnished frame displaying the simple, clean lines and curved upper corners typical of the period. The original gilt finish of the carved and moulded outer frame is nicely worn, giving the mirror great character, while the glass plate is enclosed snugly by a delicate string-of-pearls motif.
