A very ornate 19th century rectangular mirror, with floral embellished frame

A very ornate Louis-Philippe mirror, with rounded upper corners. An openwork crest of acanthus leaves rises above the frame, which itself is beautifully decorated with a repeating design of intricately moulded flowers. A string-of-pearls beading encloses the glass all around. Some signs of wear, in keeping with its age, but a beautiful piece.

Circa 1880
