A stylish Louis XV-style caned Bergère armchair in natural wood, featuring a generously wide seat with detachable crimson plush cushion woven with an exuberant floral design. The shaped top rail has been beautifully embellished with exquisite floral carvings at its crest, with echoes of the same motif appearing at the centre of the shaped lower apron. Elegant in design, this 19th century chair features a comfortably enveloping caned backrest and high, enclosed armrests with upholstered pads that match the seat cushion. The chair rests on four nicely curved cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Please note that the caned seat base has been replaced by  fabric.
