19th Century Pair of French Paris Porcelain Cache-Pots
$2.520,00
A delightful and colourful matching pair of pretty porcelain cache pots, perfect for displaying indoor plants. Dating from the 19th century, the pots have been lovingly hand painted with a continuous polychrome frieze of flowers and foliage, with cobalt blue scrolls and gilt banding at the rim and on the body. Each pot has a hole in its base, and two side handles, crafted in the form of lions’ heads, and picked out with gilt detailing. The pots are in excellent antique condition, with just a minor chip on one of the pair.
