A pretty and petite rectangular mirror in sculpted and gilded wood, its four corners embellished with carvings of tiny flowers and sprays of acanthus. Dating from the 19th century, this charming mirror retains its original glass plate, and is inscribed on the back, presumably by the original maker. In keeping with its great age, there have been some small repairs to the gilding, and there are some general signs of wear, as would be expected.
