A pair of blue Opaline vases. 19th century.
$1.800,00
A vibrant pair of ornate vases in moulded turquoise blue opaline, dating from around 1870 (Napoléon III). Unsigned but very much in the style and colouring of Portieux Vallérysthal, the celebrated Lorraine-based glass producer founded in 1836. Their fluted bodies form a background for a rope-framed medallion, with faux ring handles on each side and a flared rim and base.
