A very striking oval mirror in wood and gilded plaster, dating from the late 19th century. This stunning antique mirror features at its crest an intricate medallion-shaped pediment complete with miniature oval mirror, flanked on either side by beautiful winged cherubs and garlands of flowers. This motif is echoed at the base of the oval, while string-of-pearls moulding encloses the mirror plate. The gilding is nicely aged, giving this mirror real character.
