An elegant ‘bronzed’ painted plaster figure of a classical lady, seated. Painted in natural tones, the colours have aged and acquired a nicely faded patination, which closely resembles bronze. The piece is entitled ‘La Bise’ (‘The Kiss’), and is named after the sculptor Mathurin MOREAU.
